British Museum president floats joint Parthenon Sculptures exhibition in Athens and London

The British Museum's president signals openness to a joint exhibition of the Parthenon Sculptures across Athens and London, framing a deal as requiring mutual compromise. This marks a notable softening in the museum's long-standing refusal to discuss repatriation, though no formal agreement or timeline is confirmed. The proposal could shift UK-Greece cultural diplomacy, but remains an emerging claim pending official positions.
