Ecuadorian authorities initiate prosecution for Monjas forest fire

The Ecuadorian Prosecutor's Office has placed an individual in pretrial detention following a forest fire that destroyed 1,200 square meters of vegetation in Monjas, Quito. A 30-day fiscal investigation period has been established to determine criminal liability.
