Russian Ministry of Digital Development authorizes 5G deployment on legacy infrastructure

The Russian Ministry of Digital Development has authorized the 'Big Four' mobile operators to utilize existing cellular infrastructure and frequency bands for 5G network deployment. Operators are also granted access to the 4630-4990 MHz spectrum, marking a shift in regulatory policy to accelerate 5G rollout using domestic assets.
