Severe flooding in Nepal and Tibet results in at least 160 fatalities

Extreme monsoon-related flooding has caused at least 157 deaths in Nepal and three in Tibet. The death toll remains preliminary as search and rescue operations continue in affected areas, with the full extent of infrastructure damage and displacement currently uncertain.
