Belgian bird show proceeds despite avian flu; local exhibitors barred

The Diamond Bird Show in Zandhoven will proceed as scheduled despite a confirmed avian influenza outbreak in Balen, with no additional safety measures required. However, 12 exhibitors from the affected region are barred from attending. The decision reflects a localized containment approach, but the situation remains fluid as the outbreak is recent.
