Hospital de Castro under investigation for unauthorized release of forensic remains

The Chilean Regional Ministerial Secretariat of Health has launched an investigation into the Hospital de Castro following the premature release of a deceased patient's body. The Legal Medical Service (SML) was forced to retrieve the remains from a wake, highlighting a significant procedural failure in handling forensic cases involving accidental death.
