Kosovo Assembly Besieged by KLA Veterans; Police Use Tear Gas and Water Cannons

Protesters linked to Kosovo Liberation Army veterans have besieged the Kosovo Assembly in Pristina, blocking exits and deploying pyrotechnics, resulting in one police officer injury. Kosovo special police have responded with tear gas and water cannons to disperse the crowd. The protest is confirmed to be over draft amendments to the Law on Special Majorities, with additional claims linking it to support for 'Liberation Army' leaders facing war-crimes proceedings.
