Argentina completes 33kV underground power line resolving 25-year inter-provincial dispute

Chubut and Río Negro provinces have finalized a $17 billion ARS underground double-circuit 33kV power line connecting El Coihue and Golondrinas substations. This project resolves a quarter-century of jurisdictional and energy supply disputes between the two jurisdictions. The infrastructure upgrade is expected to stabilize regional power distribution and end long-standing administrative gridlock.
