Civilians flee occupied Oleshky on foot through mined roads; 12 reached Ukraine-held territory in September

Twelve civilians escaped Russian-occupied Oleshky in September, walking through mined roads to Radensk and onward to Ukrainian-controlled territory. The small numbers reflect the extreme danger and limited escape routes, highlighting the ongoing humanitarian toll of the occupation. The situation remains fluid as more residents may attempt the perilous journey.
