Nigeria NDC disputes Enugu state account of airport shooting incident

The National Democratic Coalition (NDC) has publicly rejected the Enugu state government's version of events regarding sporadic shootings at the airport and NDC secretariat during a governorship campaign flag-off. The incident, which occurred on Saturday, is now subject to conflicting official narratives, with the NDC challenging the state's characterization. This dispute signals political tension in Enugu State ahead of the governorship election, though the factual basis of the shooting remains contested.
