Hackers reverse-engineer Flock ALPR camera, reveal person detection

Hackers captured a Flock automatic license plate reader camera and analyzed its software, finding that it detects people, vehicles, plates, and bicycles, and can generate over a million images. The most sensitive storage remained encrypted, but recovered logs show extensive surveillance capabilities. This raises privacy and security concerns about ALPR networks.
