Thessaloniki police investigate theft of gold and jewelry by impersonators

Two individuals posing as employees of the Greek electricity distribution network (DEDDIE) defrauded a 79-year-old woman in Thessaloniki, stealing 23 gold sovereigns and various jewelry. The incident follows a pattern of utility-impersonation scams targeting elderly residents in urban centers.
