Israel initiates crocodile-moat security project at detention facility

The Israeli Ministry of National Security has begun constructing a moat intended to be populated with crocodiles around a prison housing Palestinian detainees. The project, budgeted at approximately 60 million NOK, aims to deter escape attempts and includes specialized training for prison staff in animal handling.
