Antwerp Scheldt tunnel sections connected, completion expected 2028

Developer Lantis has successfully connected all eight segments of the new Scheldt tunnel in Antwerp, marking a major milestone in the Oosterweel project. Internal finishing work remains, with the tunnel scheduled to open for cyclists in 2028.
