Greek police arrest Turkish national wanted for 2019 attempted murder

Greek police arrested a 26-year-old Turkish national in central Athens on October 7, acting on an international warrant issued by Turkey for a 2019 knife attack in Eskisehir. The arrest is a routine law-enforcement action, though it may carry minor diplomatic implications given Greece-Turkey relations. The suspect is accused of attacking three people with a knife.
