Wildfire contained near Mytilene pine forest, 500m from Mauri area

A wildfire that broke out in Paleokipos, Mytilene, has been contained, with firefighting forces remaining on scene. The fire approached within 500 meters of a pine forest in the Mauri area, prompting a 112 alert to residents. The situation is under control but not fully extinguished.
