US, Greece launch joint counterterrorism intelligence mechanism

Secretary of State Marco Rubio announced a new US-Greece mechanism to intensify antiterrorist information sharing between law enforcement agencies during his visit to Athens. The move reinforces bilateral security ties and frames Greece as a key NATO partner, though no operational details or specific threats were disclosed. This is a continuation of established cooperation rather than a policy shift.
