Israeli draft evaders receive cash from rabbis; mob blocks military police arrest

In Israel, a deserter received 12,000 shekels from rabbis for 12 days in military prison, funded by other deserters. Hours later, hundreds of extremists surrounded military police in Modi'in, preventing another arrest. This indicates organized resistance to conscription among Haredi communities, escalating tensions with the IDF.
