MEA demands US probe into alleged plot against Hindu temple in Illinois

India's MEA has called for a comprehensive investigation into an alleged conspiracy to attack a Hindu temple in Aurora, Illinois, following the arrest of Alexandros Paporakis on charges of plotting a mass shooting. Authorities reportedly found extremist material at his residence. The incident raises concerns about anti-India hate and safety of Indian diaspora in the US, potentially straining bilateral ties.
