Ex-Met officer from Couzens unit convicted of rape and sexual assault

Mark Tyrrell, a former Metropolitan Police officer who served in the same unit as Wayne Couzens, was found guilty of rape, sexual assault, and attempting to delete messages sent to the victim. The conviction highlights ongoing concerns about misconduct within the UK police force, particularly in the aftermath of the Couzens case. The verdict is confirmed, but the full extent of related disciplinary actions remains unclear.
