US Senators Move to Block Trump Administration's Saudi Nuclear Deal

US senators are seeking a vote on a joint resolution of disapproval to block the Trump administration's civilian nuclear cooperation agreement with Saudi Arabia, which would otherwise take effect after a 90-day congressional review period. The move signals bipartisan congressional resistance to the deal, though its success is uncertain. The outcome will shape US-Saudi nuclear cooperation and nonproliferation policy.
