Basij female unit commander assassinated in Iran's Sistan-Baluchestan

Aqila, commander of the Afzal Sisters' Basij unit in Mehrestan, was killed outside her home in front of her children. The attack is the latest in a series targeting Iranian armed forces personnel, likely linked to ongoing unrest or external operations. The identity of the perpetrators remains unconfirmed, but the targeting of a female commander marks a notable escalation in the pattern.
