Russian drone strikes on Kyiv bridges trigger gridlock, exploit war fatigue

Russian drones struck Kyiv's Southern Bridge on Oct. 2, prompting closure of two bridges and traffic restrictions on a third, causing major gridlock. The attack is part of a pattern targeting critical infrastructure to disrupt civilian life and exploit war fatigue, as highlighted by opposition MP Oleksii Honcharenko. The incident underscores Russia's strategy of attrition against Ukrainian urban centers.
