Zelenskyy briefed on Witkoff-Putin talks; Oslo agenda set for Ukraine peace negotiations

Ukrainian President Zelenskyy has been informed of the results of negotiations between US envoy Witkoff and Russian President Putin, with the agenda for talks in Oslo and a forthcoming meeting of delegations now defined. The specifics of the Witkoff-Putin outcome remain undisclosed, but the development signals continued diplomatic momentum toward a potential ceasefire framework. This matters as it indicates active US-Russia engagement on Ukraine, with Ukraine being briefed but not directly participating, raising questions about the inclusivity of the process.
