Haredi protesters block Highway 4 over military draft sentences

Dozens of Haredi protesters from the Jerusalem faction blocked Highway 4 near the Yavne Interchange in protest of two draft dodgers sentenced to 20 days in military prison. The protest began earlier than planned, and protesters claim the arrestees were unable to contact the 'Black Color' hotline. This reflects ongoing tensions over military conscription exemptions for the Haredi community in Israel.
