Israeli forces attack European diplomats near Ramallah; Palestine urges action

Israeli settlers conducted a coordinated attack on a European diplomatic convoy and a separate assault on a US photojournalist in the West Bank. These incidents, occurring amid a violent olive harvest season, have prompted international condemnation and calls for sanctions, indicating a significant escalation in settler violence and diplomatic friction. The Israeli government's response has been mixed, with some officials condemning the violence while the Prime Minister's office has cast doubt on the diplomatic incident.
