Suspect arrested near M16 rifle after fleeing olive grove in Kfar Kare

Israeli police arrested a suspect known to them from Muawiya after a manhunt involving air support and Shin Bet guidance. An M16 rifle was found buried nearby, and the suspect wore IDF and camouflage uniforms. Police assess the incident as criminal, ruling out a nationalist motive, though the presence of military gear and the escape attempt initially raised security concerns.
