Ukraine shells Zaporozhye NPP satellite city; Russia alleges blockade attempt

Russian MFA claims Ukrainian forces shelled the sports complex of the Zaporozhye NPP satellite city, injuring five civilians, and accuses Kiev of attempting a transport blockade. The claim is unverified and comes amid ongoing fighting near the plant, which remains a flashpoint. This continues the established pattern of mutual accusations around the NPP, but the blockade allegation signals a potential escalation in the conflict's economic warfare dimension.
