Lungisa claims NMB mayoral bid despite ANC appeal, cites court win

Andile Lungisa is asserting grassroots support for the Nelson Mandela Bay mayoralty, criticizing incumbent Babalwa Lobishe and citing a court victory over his removal from the ANC's PR list. The ANC has delayed mayoral announcements until after local elections, leaving the party's internal dynamics uncertain. This signals factional tension within the ANC in a key metro ahead of the 2026 polls.
