Chinese student expelled from Moscow State University over rising sun flag incident

A Chinese student at Moscow State University was expelled and sent back to China after draping himself in the Japanese rising sun flag, a symbol of Japanese militarism, in a classroom. The incident, reported by state-run Global Times, highlights nationalist sensitivities in China and Russia's alignment with Chinese historical grievances. The expulsion reflects the political sensitivity of such symbols in the current geopolitical context.
