Haiti PNH integrates 2,069 new officers under P4000+ recruitment program

Haiti's National Police has integrated 2,069 new officers from the 35th and 36th promotions, one year into the P4000+ program aimed at recruiting over 4,000 personnel. The program is part of efforts to bolster security amid ongoing gang violence, but the pace of integration remains behind the target. This development signals incremental state capacity building in a fragile security environment.
