Russia claims downing 617 drones, 2 Neptune missiles in 24h

Russian MoD reports its air defense neutralized 617 UAVs and two Neptune anti-ship missiles over the past day, a continuation of high-intensity drone and missile exchanges in the Ukraine conflict. The claim is unverified and likely inflated, but indicates sustained Ukrainian long-range strike pressure on Russian rear areas. This matters as it reflects the ongoing attritional air-defense battle and potential strain on Russian munitions.
