Russia to Showcase 'Anti-Drone Dome' at Russia-Africa Summit Amid Domestic Drone Woes

Russia plans to present a new 'anti-drone dome' system to African partners at the upcoming Russia-Africa summit, a move that signals an export push for counter-drone technology. The presentation comes as Russia's own air defenses have been repeatedly overwhelmed by Ukrainian drone strikes, raising questions about the system's effectiveness and the credibility of the sales pitch. The development underscores Russia's effort to position itself as a security partner in Africa while facing a persistent vulnerability at home.
