ELN drone strike kills 2 soldiers, wounds 5 in Chocó, Colombia

ELN militants used a drone to attack Colombian army personnel between Juntas de Tamaná and La Italia in San José del Palmar, Chocó, killing two and injuring five. This marks an escalation in ELN's use of drones against military targets, a tactic previously less common for the group. The attack underscores ongoing insecurity in rural Chocó despite peace talks.
