IIT-Bombay student death probe: 30 detained in Powai protest, delegation meets director

Around 30 protesters were detained outside IIT-Bombay's Powai campus following a demonstration over the death of student Sahil Wakode. A student delegation met the director, who reportedly said 'I don't see caste,' and expressed no confidence in the internal inquiry committee. The incident highlights caste-related tensions and institutional response, with the probe's independence in question.
