UN warns 874,000 at risk of displacement as Somalia floods loom

IOM warns that heavy rains could displace nearly 874,000 people in Somalia, with only 14.4% of the $16.62M needed for flood preparedness secured. The funding shortfall heightens vulnerability in a country already facing climate shocks, though the scale of actual displacement remains uncertain until rains materialize.
