Astropolis Science Center in Oostende to close end of October due to end of city subsidies

The Astropolis Science Center in Oostende will close at the end of October after the city ends its subsidies, halting group visits and new projects. The closure is a local cultural and educational loss, particularly for schools, with no immediate solution announced. This is a routine local funding decision with no broader geopolitical or market implications.
