Nigeria Ebola index patient evacuated from Abuja via private jet

The wife of a Swiss diplomat in Nigeria, identified as the index Ebola case, was evacuated early Monday through the private jet wing of Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. The evacuation suggests a coordinated international response, but the patient's destination and the extent of contact tracing remain undisclosed. This marks a potential international spread of Ebola, raising concerns about cross-border transmission and the adequacy of Nigeria's containment measures.
